Module 1: Introduction to SAP Quality Management (2 Hours)

• Overview of SAP QM and its importance in manufacturing & supply chain.
• Understanding integration with SAP MM, PP, and PM.
• Key QM processes and terminology (Inspection, Quality Info Record, Lot, etc.).
• Introduction to QM master data and inspection types.
Assignment 1: Identify and list 5 real-life quality processes in a manufacturing setup and map them to SAP QM concepts.

Module 2: QM Master Data Configuration (3 Hours)

• Material master and inspection type setup.
• Inspection plans, inspection characteristics, and catalogs.
• Creating sampling procedures and master inspection characteristics.
• Setting up quality information records (Q-info).
Hands-on: Configure inspection characteristics and create an inspection plan for a material.

Module 3: Procurement Quality Management (3 Hours)

• Quality inspection during goods receipt (GR) from procurement.
• Vendor evaluation and quality info records for • Supplier quality management workflows.
• Inspection lot creation during GR and usage decision process.
Assignment 2: Simulate a procurement process with quality inspection using SAP MM-QM integration.

• Quality inspections during production process.
• Integration of QM with Production Planning (PP).
• Setting inspection points in routing and inspection operations.
• Defect recording and corrective actions in production.
Lab: Create an in-process inspection lot for a production order and record inspection results.

Module 5: Quality Notifications and Defect Management (3 Hours)

• Overview of quality notifications and notification types.
• Creating and processing defect notifications.
• Managing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Linking notifications with equipment, material, and batches.
Assignment 3: Create and close a quality notification for a defective batch.

• Vendor and customer audit management in SAP.
