Role Overview
As the DevOps / Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with backend engineers to automate deployments, monitor performance, and enforce best practices for security and compliance. This is a hands-on role where you will design systems that scale, while ensuring high uptime and data protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and scalability for the platform.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance, set up logging and alerts.
- Implement security best practices: encryption, access control, network security.
- Manage database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Optimize cloud costs and resources for efficiency.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support development and production environments.
- Support compliance efforts (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA) by enforcing infrastructure standards.
