Job Opening for Azure Data Factory Developer (Job Code RT 1564)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Azure Data Factory Developer with 1–4 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and ETL pipelines using Azure cloud services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, data transformation, and cloud-based data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Integrate data from various sources such as SQL databases, REST APIs, flat files, and cloud storage

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance

• Implement data transformation using Mapping Data Flows and Azure services

• Schedule, automate, and optimize data workflows

• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in all data integration processes

• Maintain proper documentation for pipelines, workflows, and configurations

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration

• Experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Data Lake

• Good knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization

• Understanding of JSON, CSV, XML data formats

• Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts

• Experience with scheduling, triggers, and pipeline monitoring

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure (by Microsoft)

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics

• Knowledge of Azure Databricks or Spark

• Experience with REST APIs integration

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

• Basic knowledge of Python or PowerShell

• Exposure to data modeling concepts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 1–4 years of experience in Azure Data Factory and data engineering

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills
