• Introduction of WAS Profiles, DMGR, Cell, Node, Node agent, JVMs
• Installation and Configuration of WebSphere Application Server
• Application Deployment (Install, Update, Backup, Remove)

Day 4

• Application and Application Servers Operations (Start, Stop, Restart)
• Introduction to classes/shared libraries, scope, JDBC, Messaging, JVMs, Virtual hosts, Module Managements
• Application and Application Servers Monitoring, View performance information about server and application components
• Basic of problem determination and troubleshooting, Problem determination tools and log files to troubleshoot problems. 

Intermediate Level

Day 5

• Introduction of WebSphere Application Server Product Family (Editions)
• Introduction of WebSphere Application Server Architecture
• Installation and Configuration of WAS Product Family

Day 6

• Management of WAS Profiles, DMGR, Cell, Node, Node agent, JVMs,
• Introduction to core group, node group, clusters, DCS
• Configure security
• Deploy applications in clustered environments

Day 7

• View performance information about server and application components
• Problem determination and troubleshooting, Problem determination tools and log files to troubleshoot problems. Use the IBM Support Assistant Apply problem determination methodology. Use problem determination tools and techniques.
• Identify and resolve the JVM-related, database connection and configuration, security configuration, Web services access, messaging problems

Day 8

• Determine application deployment problems
• Fix application server start failures , installation, update, and migration problems
• Configure WebSphere security using the LDAP user registry Secure an enterprise application using the Application Server Toolkit (AST) V6.1 Enable Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for the WebSphere Application Server

Expert Level

Day 9

• Architecture Planning, Design, and Implementation

Day 10
